AICut Terms of Use

By downloading, installing or using AICut you agree to these terms. AICut is made and provided by an independent developer ("we").

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use AICut on your own devices. Please do not reverse-engineer the app, redistribute it, or sell it as your own product.

2. The trial allowance

AICut ships with a built-in AICut Trial account that runs on our own model provider account, capped at 200,000 tokens per device. It is a free convenience, not a service we commit to: we may change the allowance, switch providers, or end the trial at any time without notice. The allowance has no cash value and cannot be transferred. If the trial is abused — bypassing the on-device counter, or driving it with bulk automation — we may cut off support for that device.

3. Your own model account

Beyond the trial, AICut uses the third-party model API key you enter. All resulting costs are yours and are paid directly to that provider, and your use of it is also governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not a reseller or agent for those services and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, rate limits or output.

4. Your content

The videos you import, the text you write and the cuts you produce are yours. We claim no rights over them and have no access to them.

You are also responsible for them. You must hold the rights to your footage or have permission to use it. Do not use AICut in breach of the law, or to infringe anyone's copyright, likeness, reputation or privacy, or to produce misleading or unlawful material.

5. No warranty

AICut is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Language models are not deterministic: we do not warrant that an edit will be accurate, usable, or fit for any particular purpose. Transcription can be wrong, the director's plan may not match what you wanted, and you should watch the finished cut yourself before publishing it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost data, lost revenue or lost business arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Keep your own backups of your original footage.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use AICut after a change means you accept the new terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
